Thomas "Sully" Sullivan, age 71, of Winter, WI passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 23, 2013.

Thomas Richard Sullivan was born February 2, 1942 in Eau Claire, WI the son of John and Mary Jo (Mohr) Sullivan. He was raised in Eau Claire and joined the U.S. Navy on February 5, 1959 at the age of 17. Tom served for four years and was honorably discharged on January 24, 1963 and moved to Kenosha, WI where he then served in the Military Reserves. On August 1, 1964 Tom was joined in...

Thomas "Sully" Sullivan, age 71, of Winter, WI passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 23, 2013.

Thomas Richard Sullivan was born February 2, 1942 in Eau Claire, WI the son of John and Mary Jo (Mohr) Sullivan. He was raised in Eau Claire and joined the U.S. Navy on February 5, 1959 at the age of 17. Tom served for four years and was honorably discharged on January 24, 1963 and moved to Kenosha, WI where he then served in the Military Reserves. On August 1, 1964 Tom was joined in marriage to Marilyn Haug in Kenosha, WI. Tom and Marilyn moved to Racine, WI where Tom worked for Horlick Malted Milk Company and then JI Case as a Stationary Engineer. Tom retired from Case International and then moved to Winter, WI. Tom was a member of the Winter Sportsman Club and National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting ruffed grouse and deer and fishing. He was very crafty and spent his time woodworking, making knives, rock polishing or creating things with leather.

Tom is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marilyn; four children, Sharon (Jay) Dunn of DeForest, WI, Maureen "Trini" (Steve) Ehlert of Randolph, WI, Michael (Theresa) Sullivan of Racine, WI, Thomas Sullivan Jr. of Franksville, WI; seven grandchildren, Liz, Chelsea, Danielle, Grace, Zachary, Jay and Jacob; one brother, Jim Sullivan of Eau Claire, WI; one sister, Mary (Kenneth) Smith of Sturtevant, WI; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert and John "Jackie" Sullivan, Jr.
