Linda Diane (Buckholtz) Dye 63, of Winter, WI passed away July 26, 2013 at Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital in EauClaire, WI.
Linda was born January 17, 1950 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin to James and Phyllis Buckholtz. She attended Winter High school. In her youth she attended certification training and become a phenomenal cook and baker. Her homemade zucchini bread was a specialty. Linda was a self-proclaimed spitfire! Linda Diane (Buckholtz) Dye 63, of Winter, WI passed away July 26, 2013 at Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital in EauClaire, WI.
Linda was born January 17, 1950 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin to James and Phyllis Buckholtz. She attended Winter High school. In her youth she attended certification training and become a phenomenal cook and baker. Her homemade zucchini bread was a specialty. Linda was a self-proclaimed spitfire! She was renowned for her good sense of humor and her caring nature. Linda would always put others before herself; even when she was in pain or exhausted. A trait that she passed on to her children. Linda loved playing cards and watching soap operas.
Among those who survive and gratefully shared her life are her husband Robert of Winter, WI; her children Michael (Patricia) Buckholtz of Belle Chasse, LA, James (Jennifer) Dye of Keller, TX, Justen Dye of Garland, TX, Angela Louise (John) Pollard of Hurst, TX, Vance James Dye, brothers Robert Buckholtz of Port Orchard, WA, Jerry (Carol) Buckholtz of Muskego, WI, Richard (Marcia) Buckholtz of Glendale, AZ, Dennis (Carol) Buckholtz of Shelton, WA, Ronald (Pam) Buckholtz of Exeland, WI, David (Fawn) Buckholtz of Winter, WI; sister-in-law Arlene (Herb) Turner of Radisson, WI; mother-in-law June Dye; grandchildren David Michael Pierce, Alexander Eugene Pierce, Autumn Dye, Garrison Parrish, Hunter Dye, Jameson Dye, Blake Dye, Christopher, Heather, Sean, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by James C. Dye Aug. 4, 2003, Alexander Eugene Feb. 7, 1990, brothers Tom Buckholtz, Jim Buckholtz; sisters, Leta Buckholtz, Sally Buckholtz.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held at the Anderson Nathan Koerpel funeral home Thursday August 1st, 2013 at 11:00am. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Radisson Cemetery.
A small gathering will be held at Helsings in Radisson after the cemetery.
