June O. Frogness 94, of Cumberland, WI passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Heritage Manor in Rice Lake, WI surrounded by her family.
June was born January 17, 1918 in Chicago, IL to Ferdinand Albert & Gladys Lillian (Parmaley) Lansky.
She graduated from Steinmetz High School and attended two years of college beyond high school. June married Roy Frogness on January 27, 1940 in Chicago, IL. June was born January 17, 1918 in Chicago, IL to Ferdinand Albert & Gladys Lillian (Parmaley) Lansky.
She graduated from Steinmetz High School and attended two years of college beyond high school. June married Roy Frogness on January 27, 1940 in Chicago, IL. When June and Roy married, June was a teacher at the Locke School. Both June and Roy were also attending the Moody Bible Institute. She received a Limited State Elementary School Certificate from the State of Illinois in 1949.
June taught elementary school for a short time. She was also employed in her husband's drafting business and was actively involved in assisting with his business. She was often asked to prepare dinner for Roy's business associates on short notice.
She was an active member of church and was a member of the Dorcas Society. June also played the piano, and was a great cook.

Among those who survive and gratefully shared her life are her children Darrell (Lois) Frogness of Hayden Lake Idaho, Ronald (Carolyn) Frogness of Cumberland, WI, and Deborah (Jim) Myers of Ramsey, MN; one brother Fritz (Barbara) Lanksy of Deer Park, IL; one nephew Robert (Michelle) Lansky; her grandchildren Jay (Jennifer) Frogness of Bremerton, ID, Bret (Krista) Frogness of Cumberland, WI, Roald (Jenny) Frogness of Cumberland, WI, Harlow (Valorie) Frogness of Eden Prairie, MN, Roy (Dana) Myers of San Antonio, TX, Will Myers of WI, Elizabeth (Graeme) Bell of Maple Grove, MN, Heather Gans of Geneseo City Il, Eric Moland of Winter, WI; greatgrandchildren Tyler, Ben, Cody and Bridget Frogness, Clara, Peter, Maurissa, Emmalee, Abaigail, and Luke, Myers, Matthew and Samantha Bell, Katrina and Ryan Rockensock, Sylvi, Soren, and Trygve Frogness.
She is preceded in death by her husband Roy Frogness, one sister Betty Lanksy, one brother Horace Hardwick, one daughter Tina Elizabeth (Bob) Carter, and one grandson Matthew Frogness.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. November 28, 2012 at Evangelical Free Church in Winter, WI. Pastor Ray Coldwell will officiate. Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday November 27th 2012 at the funeral home, and again one hour prior to the service at church.
Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward, Wisconsin.

Pall Bearers will be her grandsons Jay, Bret, Roald, Harlow, Will and Eric.
