Joseph C. Kehoss of Barnes, WI passed away at the age of 92 on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital.

Joe was born in Butler, WI on November 17, 1921, the son of Joseph M. and Louise E. (Eilbracht) Kehoss. Joe graduated from Wauwatosa High School in 1939, and served in the U.S. Army during the latter years of World War II. He met his wife Beverly when he became employed at Waukesha Foundry Company in Waukesa; they were married on June 18, 1960, at St. Mary's Church in Waukesha. In 1984, after 35 years of service, Joe retired as Director of Purchasing from Waukesha Foundry, then a division of Abex Corporation.

During his retirement years Joe enjoyed golf, the cabin "up north", and spending time with his family and friends. In the mid 1990's, Joe and his wife moved year-round to their home in Barnes where Joe loved the lake, fishing, and visits from family and friends. He also enjoyed many happy years of Packer games, road trips, and local events.

Joe is survived by his wife of 53 years, Beverly; three children, Kathrin (Tim) Geschke of Nashotah, WI, Joseph J. (Jeannie) Kehoss of Mukwonago, WI, and Corey S. Kehoss of Waukesha, WI; seven grandchildren, Claire, Cale, Annie, and Sara Geschke; Ashley (Jeff) Grabarec and Chelsey Vincent; and Samuel Kehoss. He is further survived by sister-in-law, Bernice Leamy of Waukesha, WI; brother-in-law, Louis Kowalski (Carole) of Eagan, MN; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his one brother Donald Kehoss.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon on Saturday, April 12th, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hayward. A time of gathering with the family will be held from 11:00 a.m. to noon at the church.
