Janet Moore was born January 7, 1944 in Los Angeles, CA the daughter of Wilburn and Virginia (Steed) Moore. Her parents moved throughout the U.S. and then settled in Winter where they operated a creamery and Janet graduated from high school. She attended some college and then went to work in Chicago, IL as a secretary for a short time. Janet was joined in marriage to Richard Leonard Ehn on February 1, 1964. Janet Moore was born January 7, 1944 in Los Angeles, CA the daughter of Wilburn and Virginia (Steed) Moore. Her parents moved throughout the U.S. and then settled in Winter where they operated a creamery and Janet graduated from high school. She attended some college and then went to work in Chicago, IL as a secretary for a short time. Janet was joined in marriage to Richard Leonard Ehn on February 1, 1964. Janet and Richard lived in Winter raising their three children. Over the years in Winter, Janet worked various jobs including cooking at the Country Café and the Hotel Restaurant and working at the Winter Co-op Bakery Department. Janet enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing casino games, and spending time with her friends. She was an animal lover and would take in anything that wondered by. She will be remembered for her strength and her loving and giving nature.

Janet is survived by her three children, Kimberly (Ray) Allard of Trego, WI, Barbara Suzan of Trego, WI, Shane Ehn of Winter, WI; three grandchildren, Terra Jo Gifford, Cody Allard and John Larson-Ehn; one great grandchild, Cadence Gifford; one brother-in-law, Robert Duvall; special friend, George Bulow; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; and sister, Patsy Duvall

A memorial service celebrating Janet's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 12th at Zion Lutheran Church in Winter, WI with Pastor Gary Hilgendorf officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Music will be provided by Kris Rankin. Burial will be at a later time in the Winter Cemetery.

Honorary bearers will be George Bulow, Chuck Petit, Rosie Phillips and Allan Radstedt.
