James Dale "Jim" Skinner, 65, of Hayward passed away at his home, surrounded by his family on Monday, June 20.

Jim was born on June 24, 1945 to James and Kathleen (McLaggan) Skinner in Superior, WI. He graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive in Chicopee, MA in 1964. Jim married Suzanne Dombeck September 4, 1965 in Chicopee, MA. They moved to Hayward in 1974 and he worked for the City of Hayward in the Public Works Department for over 20 years. James Dale "Jim" Skinner, 65, of Hayward passed away at his home, surrounded by his family on Monday, June 20.

Jim was born on June 24, 1945 to James and Kathleen (McLaggan) Skinner in Superior, WI. He graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive in Chicopee, MA in 1964. Jim married Suzanne Dombeck September 4, 1965 in Chicopee, MA. They moved to Hayward in 1974 and he worked for the City of Hayward in the Public Works Department for over 20 years. Jim volunteered for the "Birkie", played both competitive and non-competitive softball, bowled, and he participated in dart leagues. He was an avid Packer and Brewer fan and enjoyed hunting.

Jim is survived by: his wife, Suzanne Skinner of Hayward, three children, Barbara (Paul) Faustino of Minneapolis, Michael Skinner of Hayward, and Gale Skinner of Denver, CO, one granddaughter, Kaitlin "Kat" Skinner of Hayward, and two siblings, Tom (Vera) Skinner of MA, and Kathy Skinner of MA, and four nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents and one brother, William.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 27 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hayward. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Anderson-Nathan-Koerpel is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be directed to Hayward Regional Hospice or to the family for a memorial fund.
