Gary Grant Harris was born September 19, 1953 in Ashland, WI to Wayne E. and Beatrice B. (Edder) Harris, Sr. Gary moved to Hayward in 1957 with his family, where he attended school and graduated from Hayward High School. In 1973 he married Karen Johnson, and in 1974 he joined the Navy and proudly served his country. During the last 9 years, Gary owned and operated Fragrant Septic in Hayward. Gary loved his "four-legged companions", with his last dog "Lobo" being among his favorites. He will be remembered as being a kind man with a gentle soul who will be greatly missed.
Gary is survived by his wife, Karen; sons Joshua, Travis (Anne), and Gary Jr. (Angie); granddaughters Erikah and Emmelie; brother Wayne (Bev); sister Sharon (Dave) Kuschel; beloved niece Shelly; as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jack.
