Dennis L. Perry, age 83, of Gordon, WI passed away on Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Hayward, WI.

Dennis LaDeen Perry was born March 3, 1929 in Madison, WI the son of Frederick and Edith (Turner) Perry. He graduated from high school in Madison and then joined the U.S. Navy in 1948. Dennis L. Perry, age 83, of Gordon, WI passed away on Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Hayward, WI.

Dennis LaDeen Perry was born March 3, 1929 in Madison, WI the son of Frederick and Edith (Turner) Perry. He graduated from high school in Madison and then joined the U.S. Navy in 1948. While in the Navy he was honored with the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Navy Occupation Service Medal. Dennis was a boxer and played fast pitch softball for the Navy. After his time in the Navy, Dennis continued to serve his county in the reserves for many years. Dennis became a production controller for the Department of Defense and lived in Jacksonville, FL. Dennis worked for the Department of Defense until his retirement in 1989. He moved to Gordon, WI where he could enjoy his favorite pastimes of hunting, fishing and golfing. Dennis was a Green Bay Packer fan and was a member of American Legion and VFW posts.

Dennis is survived by his three daughters, Ellen Barlow of Gordon, WI, Dennice Summers of Gordon, WI, Linda (Chris) Demarche of Englewood, CO; nine grandchildren, Charles and Christopher Summers, Bryan, Jessica and Matthew Barlow; Terri Ierardi, Siri, Erick and Perry DeMarche; one brother, Jerry (Bobbi) Perry of Madison, WI; two sisters, Beverly (Bob) Johnson of Stoughton, WI, Joyce Tiedeman of Sioux City, WI; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ronald Perry; and two nephews.

Services for Dennis will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI.
